These Terms & Conditions govern your use of SO, WHAT'S IT WORTH? | AI, including AI-assisted valuation reports, account features, payment features, public valuation tools, marketplace-related tools, Collection Vault features, and related website services.
1. Informational AI Valuation Estimates Only
SO, WHAT'S IT WORTH? | AI provides AI-assisted resale value estimates for general informational and educational purposes only. Reports are not certified appraisals and should not be treated as professional, legal, tax, estate, donation, insurance, financing, or authentication opinions.
2. No Guarantee of Value, Sale, or Accuracy
Actual resale prices may be higher or lower than any estimate shown. Market value can change based on buyer demand, timing, location, condition, authenticity, completeness, shipping costs, selling fees, platform choice, seller reputation, photographs, and other market factors. We do not guarantee that any item will sell or sell within the estimated range.
3. User Responsibility
You are responsible for verifying item details, condition, authenticity, ownership, title, legality, and any marketplace listing information before buying, selling, shipping, donating, insuring, or relying on a report. You are also responsible for complying with applicable marketplace rules and laws.
4. Uploaded Photos and User Content
By uploading photos, descriptions, notes, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to upload and use that content. You grant us permission to store, process, display, and use that content as needed to provide the requested services, including report history, Collection Vault, customer support, marketplace tools, and public report features when you choose to publish a report.
5. Public Valuation Library
The Public Valuation Library contains valuation examples that users choose to publish. Private reports do not appear in the library unless the report owner selects a publish option. Published reports may be visible to website visitors and may include item photos, AI-generated summary information, value ranges, category information, and report details. Do not publish reports that contain personal information or photos you do not want shown publicly.
6. Marketplace and Buyer/Seller Activity
If marketplace-related features are available, SO, WHAT'S IT WORTH? | AI is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers. We do not guarantee buyers, sellers, payments, shipping, delivery, authenticity, condition, or transaction outcomes. Users are responsible for their own communications, listings, payments, taxes, and disputes.
7. Payments, Credits, and Reports
Paid report credits are used to generate AI Valuation Reports. Unless otherwise stated, credits are not cash, cannot be redeemed for cash, and may be subject to account and fraud prevention rules. Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers such as Square. We do not store full payment card numbers.
8. Third-Party AI and Service Providers
Reports and assistant responses may be generated or supported using third-party AI and technology providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic/Claude. Third-party providers may process uploaded content and prompts as needed to provide the service.
9. Prohibited Use
You may not use this website to upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harmful, abusive, or unauthorized content. You may not attempt to disrupt the website, bypass security, scrape data without permission, misuse payment systems, or use reports to mislead buyers or sellers.
10. Account Access and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, misuse the service, submit fraudulent activity, or otherwise interfere with website operation.
11. Intellectual Property
The website design, software, branding, report format, text, graphics, and related content are owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied, resold, or redistributed except as permitted by the website features.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, inaccurate estimates, failed sales, marketplace disputes, reliance on reports, account interruptions, data loss, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
